Patlabor (universe)

A near-future timeline where mecha called Labors are commonplace. They are used in everything from construction to military use, even as police units (called Patrol Labors, hence the title).

Patlabor tells the story of the SV2, a divison of the Japanese police that uses Patlabors to fight Labor-related crimes.
