Ghost in the Shell (攻殻機動隊, Kōkaku Kidōtai?, translated as "Mobile Armored Riot Police") is a Cyberpunk manga series created by Masamune Shirow in 1989. It revolves around Section 5, a government agency dealing in cyber-crime, and its smoking hot, scantily clad top agent, cyber-woman Motoko Kusanagi.
